You can find your Neighbrouhood Housing Officer by emailing neighbourhoodhousing@northtyneside.gov.uk.

Their responsibilities:

  • Be your first point of contact with the housing service
  • Support you to sustain your tenancy
  • Check that homes, gardens, and estates are kept in good condition
  • Help you with any changes to your tenancy or household details

You can find your Income Officer by emailing Housing.Incometeam@northtyneisde.gov.uk. 

Their responsibilities:

  • The collection of your rent
  • To signpost you to financial support
  • To help prevent you from getting into rent arrears

These are two separate teams within housing who work together with the shared goal of helping you to be happy and feel supported in your home. It is important that you feel comfortable to reach out with any worries or questions.
