Early Years Pupil Premium
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) gives extra money to nurseries and childminders to help children from low-income families.
To get EYPP:
- Parents or carers must say it's okay to share their details with the council. This is done by signing the Parent Declaration Form.
- If the family gets certain benefits, the nursery or childminder must fill in the parent/carer details on the Early Years Portal. This helps check if the child can get EYPP.
- If the child might get EYPP for other reasons (not money-related), the nursery or childminder should email: EYcommissioning@northtyneside.gov.uk.
