- Make sure you know how to check if the problem is confined to your property.
- Store bottled water in an accessible place.
- Wrap up exposed pipes with insulation. This can prevent them freezing or bursting.
- Make sure you know where your stop tap is. In the event of a burst pipe, this is the quickest way to stop the water flowing.
