North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all access and egress at the junction of Laburnum Avenue / Whitley Road. An alternate route is available via Laburnum Avenue, Jesmond Terrace, Victoria Terrace, Whitley Road.
The Order is required for upgrades to traffic signal crossing points and will come into force on 30 September 2025 lasting until 16 November 2025.
