North Tyneside Council gives notice that has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on:
Killingworth
Station Roads Level Crossing.
An alternate route is available via Station Road, Northumbrian Way, Southgate, Great Lime Road, Killingworth Drive and in reverse order.
The temporary Order is required for drainage jetting works and will come into force on 22 November 2025 for a period not exceeding 1 day. Working hours will be from 23:00 until 08:45.

The temporary Orders are required for CCTV sewer surveys and cleansing and will come into force on 11 November 2025 lasting until 13 November 2025.
