Northumbria Area Meeting is applying for planning permission for Refurbishment of the existing building, including demolition of the rear extension and construction of a two-storey replacement with lift, WCs and meeting rooms; reconfiguration of the front garden to provide level access and an accessible garden; minor rear landscaping for access and privacy; and incorporation of sustainability measures, including PV panels, to enhance energy efficiency.
It is considered that the development proposed may affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area.
