North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic on Elton Street East from the junction with Station Road to outside number 26/28 Elton Street East.
An alternate route is available via Station Road, High Street West, West Street, Elton Street West, Elton Street East.
The Order will come into force on 9 October 2025 until 10 October 2025
