Our Policy on Funding and what parents may be charged for or asked to provide, to suit theirs and their child’s needs

Funded hours can be used across all 47 weeks of the year. These can be used within our opening hours of 7.30am– 17.00pm. To suit parental needs. Use of funded hours can be discussed with management.

For those children that attend this session, all children will be able to take part, even if parents are unable to make the voluntary contribution.

Breakfast: If your child attends between the hours of 7.30am and 8.45am we will provide breakfast as part of the funding price. (No extra charges will be added) This includes breakfast Juice, milk, cereals and toast.

Morning and afternoon fruit snack is included in the funding price.

Extra hours for specific days and celebrations such as graduation or Christmas parties. All children will be invited to attend these with no extra cost to parents, if they are held outside of their normal booked hours. The cost for extra staff, decorations and resources will be provided by Little Sunshine Childcare.

Parents are asked to provide the following:

• Water bottles. To be kept in setting for daily use, and returned home at the end of term.
• An Insulated pack lunch with an ice pack. Pack lunches to follow national food healthy eating guidelines.
• Baby wipes and nappies (if required) These can be stored at nursery with requests for more sent to parents when running low.
• Suncream.

All of the above is labelled with their child’s names and only used for that child.

Parent’s are not charged for using any of nursery’s extras or consumables i.e spare nappies/wipes, spare clothes, wellies, wet suits, messy play provisions.

We may ask throughout the year for some voluntary donations such as harvest festival, or summer fair. These are completely voluntary and not logged as to who has made donations.
