The North West of North Tyneside is a great place to live. It has a proud industrial and mining heritage, is surrounded by green spaces and is linked by a network of historic waggonways.

It includes: Killingworth Village and Town, Annitsford, Dudley, Fordley, Camperdown, Burradon, Wideopen, Seaton Burn, Forest Hall, Westmoor, Benton, Longbenton, Palmersville and Holystone.

The area offers a broad range of housing and sees strong demand from families who want to live there. It sits in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne commuter belt, with road links via the A19 and A1, and Tyne and Wear Metro stations at Longbenton, Four Lane Ends, Benton, Palmersville and Northumberland Park. It is home to the Council’s strategic employment site Indigo Park, and Quorum Business Park, a major employment location.
