With the highs that come from becoming and being a parent, it’s also important to recognise the potential overwhelming feelings that can be experienced.

Parents can suffer from a low mood, anxiety and depression and feel irritable, detached, helpless or worried. If you need help or support, you can contact School Nurses, Health Visitors or your GP. You may be referred to Talking Therapies
