Drug and Alcohol Family Support Service

Our service supports parents and young people who use drugs and alcohol. We help people impacted by an adult's drug and alcohol use too.

Support for parents and carers

We help parents achieve their treatment goals. That could be maintaining safer, lower level use or achieving total abstinence.

We provide support at home where we can. If we can't it take place in a community setting.

Support for children and young people

We work with people up to the age of 18 who use drugs or alochol. We deliver one-to-one sessions where they feel comfortable, but we do group work in and education in schools too.

We offer targeted support for those in Years 8 and 10 through interactive, engaging sessions.

We work with young people to address the hidden harm of a parent or carers drug and alcohol use. This includes emotional support to improve their health and wellbeing. We provide this support outside of the home in school settings. If they'd prefer, it can take place wherever they feel comfortable instead.
