Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request information about the geographic distribution of pupils attending schools within the North East Planning Area (NEPA).
Please provide the following information for each NEPA school (all First and Middle schools within the NEPA area, including Langley First, Appletree Gardens First, Whitley Lodge First, Coquet Park First, Marine Park First, Rockcliffe First, South Wellfield First, Southridge First, and any linked Middle Schools):
- For each academic year from 2020–21 up to and including 2024–25, please provide the first part of the home postcode (the outward code, e.g. “NE25” or “NE26”) for all children admitted to Reception at each school.
- For the current academic year (2024–25), please also provide the outward postcode for all pupils in the current Year 2 cohort at each NEPA school.

Please be advised The Code of Practice for Official Statistics requires that reasonable steps should be taken to ensure that all published or disseminated statistics protect confidentiality. To do this numbers less than 5 are suppressed to protect confidentiality. Disclosure of such information would therefore be in breach of the data protection principles and is therefore withheld under section 40 (2) of the FOIA
